Proposal for Elderly accommodation as part of the Cranmore House Masterplan (Permission Granted 2017).
The proposal takes inspiration from the existing Ballinrobe townscape, where it is reinterpreted by turning it through 90 degrees so ‘gable ends’ form the new streetscape. An injection of colour to each façade identifies each block as an individual element within the whole. A private communal garden space is provided along the rear boundary, which also has direct access to the multi-use shared spaces that have been created on the ground floor. Apartment layouts have been carefully considered and are in excess of the Design Standards for New Apartments.
