A small workshop for day patients attending Ballina District Hospital. The building required to be welcoming, of an appropriate scale and be a building that the users could 'own'.

The architectural response uses colour and texture to create a human scale, while the sculptural massing of the corners of the building is a modern interpretation of the tradition of rainwater draining into a water tank.
