The commission was to provide a new entrance, canteen and I.T. office space for an existing 1960's factory building.

A central atrium brings light deep into the plan and projects to the external to articulate the entrance.

The project seeks to control, mould and articulate the quality of light in relation to the different functions of the brief, so that at different stages as you pass through the building, you experience direct, reflected and diffused light.

The success of the project has been in its ability to reinvigorate an existing facility.
